(Dean Ackerman of Columbia wrote Mr. Charles Ross in
September that this year Columbia University would
make this award to above three gentlemen; they
have also presented silver plaque to Pan American
Union to recognize contribution of their publications
toward advancement of international friendship in
Western Hemisphere. In past Ackerman has brought
winners to the White House where the President has
congratulated them on getting this award.)
