(Called Mr. Connelly yesterday to ask for this appointment.)
11:30 am Sr. Dr. Don Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros,
the Ambassador of Mexico
(Called Mr. Connelly and asked for this appointment)
11:45 am Mr. Albert Goss, Master of the National Grange
Mr. James Turner (British) President of the
International Food and Agricultural Products (IFAP)
(Mr. Goss asked for this appointment. Mr. Connelly
asked him to have Mr. Turner go first to his Embassy,
which he did, and this arranged with full approval
of the State Department.)
12:00 pm The President received from the Pan American Society
of the United States, the Society's Gold Medal,
which they voted unanimously to award him.

American Veterans, opening of their Campaign. The
