11:15 am The President and Cabinet visited the Freedom Train
at Union Station.
11:45 am Congressman Wright Patman, Texas
(Phoned Mr. Matthew Connelly on Wednesday to ask for this
appointment, stating he had a personal matter to
take up with the President.)
12:00 pm Dr. Kenneth C. M. Sills, President, Bowdoin College,
Brunswick, Maine
(Mr. Matthew Connelly wrote him on November 17th, stating
the President would like to have him come down
for a talk.)
12:10 pm (Dr. A. J. McIlwain of Jackson, Miss.)
(Dr. S. T. McIlwain of Waynesboro, Miss.)
