West Wing Council

Workplace for Democracy

Member Benefits | Enrollment Form

We invite you to join a distinguished group of organizations and individuals that will help make the Truman Presidential Museum & Library a vibrant center of history exploration and learning.

As a West Wing Council member your support enriches the community in which you live and work by providing unique opportunities to promote a better understanding of history, our nation and the presidency.

Support from our generous community allows the Library to reach out to students throughout the metropolitan area in order to provide learning experiences through docent-led museum tours, and in a unique experiential setting in our White House Decision Center. Generous contributions from our members also provide the resources for attracting important traveling exhibitions, along with renowned national and international speakers. Unrestricted individual and corporate membership contributions are a vital source of financial support for the Library's educational outreach programs. And, in return for your generous financial support, we are in a unique position to offer you a customized package of benefits, determined by your level of membership, that may be utilized by individuals, executives, and associates.

Customized benefits will include:

  • Opportunities to meet national and international opinion leaders at special
    West Wing Council members-only receptions
  • Exclusive travel opportunities to Presidential Libraries and other historically
    significant venues;
  • Individualized executive tours of museum and limited-access collection areas;
  • Corporate office and civic organization visits by museum staff to discuss upcoming
    special exhibitions and programs;
  • Recognition on our website and other attractive promotional materials;
  • Free museum passes for employees and friends;
  • Discounted opportunities to hold special events on museum grounds and in meeting rooms.
