George C. Marshall: Soldier of Peace
Explore the life of President Truman's Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense, and the man for whom the Marshall Plan was named. This traveling exhibition was developed by the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery and the George C. Marshall Foundation.

The Truman Chryslers
Two recently-restored 1941 model Chrysler automobiles -- originally owned by Harry and Bess Truman -- are displayed, along with mementos of Harry Truman=s love affair with the automobile.

Classroom for Democracy: The Truman Library Looks to the 21st Century
The Truman Library is undergoing an ambitious facelift that will transform its exhibitions and educational programs over the next three years. This exhibition features a model of the new Presidential exhibits, along with photographs, drawings, and other graphic elements illustrating the changes that will take place as the Library enters the next century.

Dear Bess: Love Letters from the President
Expanded and enhanced with additional historical objects from the Library=s collection, this exhibition explores the public and personal lives of Harry and Bess Truman through the handwritten letters they sent to each other over their sixty years of courtship and marriage.

Season=s Greetings from the White House
A major collection of Presidential Christmas cards, messages, gifts, and other memorabilia from the collection of Mary Evans Seeley. The exhibition examines the holiday traditions of the nation=s First Families, with a particular focus on the traditions that have developed in the 20th Century.

Looking Back at the American Century
In the Truman Library=s last major exhibition prior to the start of the museum renovation, important memorabilia remind visitors of the people and major events of the past century.

First Families: An Intimate Portrait from the Kennedys to the Clintons
Harry Benson=s photographic study of the Abehind-the-scenes lives of the First Families over nearly 40 years. A traveling exhibition from The Newseum in Arlington, Virginia.
