Mobilizing For War:
Poster Art of World War II

01.2.106CARING

Amid the carnage of war there were also stories of caring, many of which were illustrated in posters of the time.

Posters advertised efforts to collect money and materials to relieve the suffering of people in war-torn parts of the world. In communities around the country people gathered to roll and pack bandages and to donate blood, clothing and food to the Red Cross and other relief agencies.
