At 9:30 a.m., the President met with the Pendergast family from Kansas City. At 10:00, the President had his regular staff meeting. On the meeting, they discussed the Recognition of the Government of Israel. They also talked about a plan to help countries in South America.

The President had a couple of off-the-record meetings. Then at 10:50, he met with General and Mrs. Ralph Truman. At 11:00, he met with the Governor of Missouri.

At 12:45, the President and his family went to the home of Mrs. George Mesta where they attended a luncheon in their honor. At 6:40, they went to a birthday party for Chief Justice Vision.
