Harry Truman had a day of meetings. He met with the National Commandant of the Marine Corps League and J. Klahr Huddle, American ambassador to Burma. Mr. Huddle was stopping to pay his respects before he went back to Rangoon. One of his meetings was with a group of 17 young people that were from countries participating in the Marshall Plan. He had lunch at 1:00 P.M. and went to a press and radio conference at 4:00 P.M.
