Today President Truman meet with many people. He meet with General Frank Lowe in the morning. He also talked to Congressman A. S. J. Carnahan, Missouri and Congressman James W. Trimble, Arkansas to discuss the development of iron and steel industry in southeast Missouri. Around noon the President talked to Honorable Eric Johnston, Mr. W. L. Chenery, and Mr. James C. Dirrieux so that they could talk about the Annual Collier Awards coming in May. Later in the day the President talked to General George C. Marshall.
