Truman is campaigning in West Virginia with stops in Clarksburg, Grafton,and Keyser. He also gives a news conference aboard the train. During the news conference, Truman talked about his effort to decrease military spending and have universal military training. He was asked about his feelings and reactions to the turnout of people along his campaign tour. He states, "Never felt any better in my life. I have been very highly pleased with the trip..........(metions several sites and the great turn out and response) "In fact, I don't think we have had a dud on the trip."
