This is a summary of the President's appointments for this day: At 11:00 a.m. Mr. Truman met with Floyd Odlum, which was a meeting set up by Colonel Louis Johnson.

Following this meeting, the President met with the newly appointed ambassador to Sweden, Erik C. Boheman, where Mr. Boheman presented his credentials to the President until 1:00 p.m. when the President had lunch. There were two other brief appointments of the day, the next being at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. Hermen Rosenberg and at 3:20 p.m. with Mr. William Hillman.
