The President woke up at 7:15 am. At 7:40 am he talked with General Vaughan, General Grahman, Colonel Landry, and Mr. Dawson. He then went for a walk through the station. After his walk, he had breakfast with Governor Wallgren and Admiral Leahy.

The President, accompanied by Governor Wallgren and several other members of his party, left the house and walked to the beach. Miss Truman (Margaret) was waiting there for them.

At 12:30 pm, the President, Mrs. Truman and Miss Truman posed for a formal portrait in the living room. After lunch the President, Mrs. Truman and Miss Truman moved to the southwest garden, where they posed for informal pictures.

President Truman, Mr. Steelman, Mr. Connelly and Mr. Dawson went to the President's quarters and talked until 2 am.
