Mr. Truman met with quite a few dignitaries including Dr. Edwin G. Hourse, the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors. He was also recognized by the members of the Ohio Turkey Show by being presented with the Grand Champion turkey from the Ohio International Turkey Show.

After lunch, Mr. Truman met with the Honorable Myron Taylor, Mr. Abe Feinberg and Mr. Lawrence Mario Giannini of the Bank of America National Trust and Savings Association, San Francisco. The last meetings of the day were with the Secretary of the Army at 4:15, Mr. Crim and Mr. Winslow at 4:25 and finally, the Honorable Oscar Ewing.
