At 8:25 a.m. the President, Mrs. Truman and Miss Truman left Blair House for Union Station. About 8:45 p.m., they departed Washington D.C. by train for Philadelphia, where they attended the Army vs Navy football game. They arrived in Philadelphia at 11:30.
