Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum

December 13, 1948

President Truman was told off-the-record that he would be named TIME'S Man of the Year. The senior editor of the magazine visited with President Truman to get background information. Truman didn't want to be quoted so Fuerbringer just listened to see what his impressions were of President Truman.

The Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is one of thirteen Presidential Libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration.
