Truman has a very busy day touring California, beginning at Merced, California at 6:55 AM. and ending with a speech at Glimore Stadium at 9:30 PM. The cities he visited were:

Merced, Fresno, Tulalre, Bakerfied, Tehachapi, Mojave, Burbank and Los Angeles

When introducing his wife and daughter, Truman frequently used this quip:

" I wonder if you would like to see my wife and daughter? Here is the First Lady---she is the boss. And I will introduce her boss to you,--- Margaret."

Mr. Truman focuses on increasing agricultural production and raising the income of farmers. Truman also wanted to spread out the national income. Truman didn't want all the national income to go the businessmen. Truman also wanted to continue to decrease the farm debt. He criticizes the Republicans for not helping the farmers.
