The Alamo (2:35 PM)

Truman is expressing his appreication for the Sunday hospitality and saying how much he enjoyed his visits to the First Baptist Church, the Governor's Palace and the Alamo. The trip let him see the Alamo's full sights. He calls it a "historic monument to heroism ane a moument to the fight for liberty all over the world". He later ends his speech by saying that he doesn't like to make speeches on the sabbath. Then he sates that he would like to come back to San Antonio and speak freely and frankly.
