Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum

President El Pidio Quirino of the Philipines presented this hand-carved dining table suite to President Truman in 1952. The suite is made of native hardwood called kamagong or Philipine ebony. The Persian rug it rests on was a gift from Premiere Mohammed Mossadegh of Iran in 1951.
