Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum

Truman's Piano This piano was purchased in 1910 by Joseph and Ellen Noland, Harry S. Truman's aunt and uncle. As a young man, Truman played the piano on several of his trips to court Bess Wallace. Wallace lived with her family across Delaware Street from the Nolands.


The Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is one of thirteen Presidential Libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration.
