The "trivia" we are sharing is information we received by e-mail or the U.S. Postal Service. Our class wrote letters to the different newspapers in the cities that President Truman visited on his "WhistleStop Campaign." We were interested in leaming if they saw President Truman and his family and what life was like fifty years ago. We wanted to leam history from real people. You may read more of our letters when our project is on this web site. It will be titled "Flashbacks of WhistleStop Campaign and Life Fifty Years Ago."
