Kool Kats (our class nickname) stay in harmony by practicing Life Skills. We recite our Kool Kat pledge everyday. We know that practicing Life Skills will help us to achieve our goals in life.

We found that Truman exemplified many Life Skills on our list. We feel he was successful because he lived his life by the standards that actually align with today's valued Life Skills.

We had fun finding out about Truman's life. We found that it was hard to stop when our time was up because it was all so interesting. We also realized that skills such as integrity and problem solving are not new ideas.
