Hi! We are in Mrs. Goodpaster's room in the beautiful new Siegrist Elementary School in Platte City, Missouri. We began our study of Truman by finding a timeline of his life at the WhistleStop site. We studied it and then made timelines of our own lives. During our research for Fun Facts about Truman we used the Truman trunk made by the Truman Library, biographies of Truman, a book of his speeches, the B files from the Truman Library with letters in Truman's original handwriting, plus the WhistleStop web site. We are enjoying playing the Where's Harry game at the following URL: Where's Harry

Our class is studying the Protist Kingdom in science and we really enjoy looking at brine shrimp swim through the microscope. Our favorite things are: the movie Armageddon, pizza, the color blue and baseball. Our class name is Goodie's Redhots. Our classroom pets are: Junior and Patches, guinea pigs, and Spiker, our hedgehog.

Our favorite fun fact about Harry is the story about his mother dropping him out of a second story building when he was a baby and he was caught by his uncle.

We are enjoying learning about Harry and how to learn about famous people with different kinds of research materials. We hope you enjoy our facts!
