Famous Slogans

Harry S. Truman is associated with two great slogans. The first well-known slogan was : Give'em Hell, Harry! That's what people said because Harry S. Truman was not afraid to say what he thought. Some people may not have liked what he said to them but they knew he meant what he said and would stand behind it. Whenever he spoke, people listened. Harry Truman would tell you what he thought, while some politicians may have been afraid to do this.

Harry had a sign on his desk that read The Buck Stops Here. This sign meant that he would take responsibility for whatever he did. Harry Truman made these slogans very well-known.
