Family Dedication and Loyalty

Even though Truman's life as Senator and President was very busy, he still was loyal and dedicated, by staying in touch with his wife and daughter and sending them letters often. In one letter, on May 9 ,1944, he sent his daughter Margaret allowance money and told her the book she gave him for his 60th birthday was just what he wanted.
