The Marshall Plan

Browse the Study Collection Folders

Below are links to the digital versions of the "Marshall Plan" study collection. These are digital representations of the original study collections held at the Truman Presidential Library. Study collections are boxes of items related to major topics or events that occurred during the Truman presidency, and include documents ranging from press releases to Truman's personal diary entries. They were selected from the actual archives by subject specialists, photocopied, and are presented in the Research Room of the library for easy access by interested researchers. This particular collection contains documents related to the Marshall Plan.

As part of Project WhistleStop, we have digitized this collection in order to provide greater access to these documents for educational purposes. Presently, they are more or less exact representations of the physical collections, which means there is no set order to them other than their relationship with the topic. Future efforts are underway to increase the organization and access of this collection, however.
