The Works of William Shakespeare

At one of President Truman's press conferences, he used the expression, "Wrongdoers have no house with me."

The President said the phrase ". . . was inspired by a line in Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare and the Bible are rich in expressions which men borrow from time to time."

His favorite plays by Shakespeare included Hamlet, Julius Caesar, and MacBeth.
