Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum

The Medicine Bottle

This is a bottle very similar to one that was in the Clinton drugstore where Truman worked when he was a teenager. His job was to sweep the floors.

The Clinton drug store is still standing, but is no longer a drugstore. It is now an ice cream shop with a lot of Truman memorabilia. It is located on the Independence Square, in Independence, Missouri.
