Truman Library: Memo, dated May 1, 1945, from Secretary of State Edward R. Stettinius Jr. to Harry S. Truman, describing Soviet resistance to Argentina being included in the United Nations Conference on International Organization, a steering committee vote approving Argentine participation, and unsuccessful attempts by the Soviet Minister to delay a full vote on the question of Argentinian participation, which was approved in plenary session.
