Sept. 8, 1918 Dear Bess:
I had two letters from you today one of which acknowledges my Angers letters. They were certainly a long time getting by. I hope you will recieve [sic] the ones from my last training camp more promptly. I no longer need any training camp. I wrote you from a rest billet and told you one of my wonderful experiences.
