office with local representative of General Motors,
Mr. Norman K. Haig, who will come in off record with
his wife and daughter, to deliver two of the five specially
built Cadillac sedans furnished for the White House. These
two are for the President's use. This picture for personal
use of Mr. Gordon, Vice President of General Motors, and
not for publication)
1:00 pm (Lunch)
7:00 pm The President left for Mayflower Hotel, Jefferson Day Dinner
and spoke over national hook-up at 10:00 p.m.
