11:00 am The President received a group from the Association of
Immigration and Nationality Lawyers, who presented to
him their Founders' Award for the year 1952. (They had
hoped to make this presentation to the President at
their annual dinner in New York, December 6th, but as
the President could not attend they made token presenta-
tion to Commissioner Mackey, of Immigration, and today
made actual presentation. "This is an honor reserved
for public servant who has distinguished himself during
current year in the areas of immigration and naturalization.")

8:45 pm (The President left the White House for the Statler Hotel, where
he "dropped in" at the annual Wright Memorial Dinner of the
Aero Club of Washington. The President presented the Collier
Trophy, as well as the Wright Trophy. (Black tie) The following
accompanied the President:
