0:00   Harry S. Truman answers questions from school children regarding his presidency.
    Mr. Truman says "It was nice to be President but I wouldn’t want it again." He discusses being made President due to the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt. He then decided "they were not going to take it away from me," so he went out and "whipped ‘em in 1948" and was "elected on his own in 1948."
1:15   In answer to a question, Mr. Truman says he was President for almost 8 years.
1:29   Child’s voice: "Did you know you were going to be President when you were a boy?"
    Mr. Truman: "No, I had no idea I would be President." He adds he had no idea of becoming President during his ten years in the Senate.
