    Harry S. Truman enthusiastically describes a plan, while standing in front of a screen with a map of Israel, to pump the Mediterranean Sea into the Dead Sea as a source of power. In Iraq, the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers could supply power for that area. Old canals could be used to put the rivers to work, like in the days of Ninevah and Babylon. A survey was completed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, "the report is in my file yet . . ."
