Footage from the William M. Rigdon collection at Georgia Southern University, who retained the original films; Commander Rigdon was President Truman's Naval Aide. This film contains footage of Key West, Florida, showing the Truman family, Commander Rigdon, William Hassett, and newsmen at a garden party.

04:00   Several buildings are seen including one titled “King Cole.” Two unidentified women walk down a street lined with palm trees. They then stand in front of a pond, which appears to have a dirt race track encircling it.
05:28   A family lounges under a canopy. The two women walk about on the grass.
06:12   On the Truman beach at Key West, there are several people in the water. Two cars drive by. Commander Rigdon is on the beach with a woman.
07:17   Back on the Truman beach, palm trees sway near the beach house. People play in the water. Three men run around near a volleyball net. Margaret Truman walks on the beach . Two flags fly from a ship.
08:25   Three men walk toward the beach. Various White House staff members lounge next to the beach. Several men and Margaret play with a beach ball in the water. A group of men and Margaret play volleyball. She and a man walk down next to the water.
11:30   President Truman inspects a group of military personnel from the Fleet Sonar School, then speaks to them. A man stands outside a building. Two men play shuffle board, one of them President Truman.
12:53   The Truman’s pose with a group of ten men. Outside, people play volleyball and horse shoes.
15:47   A man in uniform sits on a ledge with a camera. More volleyball is played; Margaret plays too.
18:10   A blue car drives by with an American flag on the front.
18:26   Truman sits and is photographed with a man.
19:26   A man stands outside near a ship. On the beach, men lounge.
20:25   Press men stand around at a lawn party on the grounds of the Little White House. Truman talks with people. A man holds up a newspaper. The paper reads: “Truman Ready to Feed Press Corps.” Some of the reporters are wearing tee shirts that say “Truman Athletic Club” (apparently souvenirs from the 1947 trip returning from Brazil on the U. S. S. Missouri).
22:50   A Navy man stands at a table while two men lounge near the beach.
23:08   Buildings line the shore far into the distance.
23:52   The Truman’s (Bess, Harry and Margaret) sit in the garden of the Little White House with a lady who is taking information for the census.
24:31   A boy rows in the water. People swim.
25:13   Three men pose for pictures. The Truman’s lawn party is shown.
26:16   A group is gathered near a boat (including William Hassett). Men show off the fish they caught.
27:47   A long, black ship is seen at the Truman beach. Margaret and others play with the beach ball in the water.
