00:00   A police officer stands in the foreground as the inaugural parade for President Harry S. Truman and Vice-President Alben Barkley prepares to begin. Flags line the street in Washington, D.C. where a group on police motorcycles moves past at the vanguard of the parade. A marching band in navy blue uniforms follows.
00:27   VIPs drive past in convertibles, followed by another marching band in red uniforms.
01:20   A float celebrating the state of Missouri passes. “Harry S. Truman” is written on the front. Following the float is a mule-driven cart filled with people. On the side is painted “From Lamar, Missouri, the Birthplace of President Truman.”
01:40   Horseback riders dressed like cavalry precede a float honoring the state of Kentucky. Another truck honoring Kentucky and a marching band led with a banner which reads, “Ashland, Kentucky’s Famous Tom Cat Band Salutes Harry S. Truman and Alben W. Barkley” both follow.
02:07   A float that reads, “Delaware. First State of the Union” passes. Marching bands and military formations continue.
