0:00   May 9, 1966. Birthday party for Harry Truman at the Hotel Muehlebach in Kansas City. Jack Benny speaking (saying he may run for President). President Lyndon Johnson calls and wishes Truman a happy birthday.
2:35   May 25, 1968. Hubert Humphrey chatting with Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Truman on the porch of their Independence home just before Humphrey leaves.
3:18   January 20, 1966. Harry S. Truman Peace Institute ceremonies at the Truman Library. Harry Truman introduces President Lyndon B. Johnson, who then speaks.
4:43   July 26, 1967. Jimmy Durante visits Harry Truman at his Independence home. KCMO news reporter Joe Kramer is discussing the visit with Mr. Durante.
5:47   October 11, 1968. President and Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson’s arrival at the Truman house In Independence for signing of U.N. Day proclamation.
6:22   November 8, 1968. Battery D members arrive at the Truman home in Independence. KCMO news reporter Wendall Anschutz questions the members as they leave about their visit.
7:32   March 21, 1969. President and Mrs. Richard Nixon arrive at the Truman Library. President Nixon talks with Harry S. Truman and presents Truman with the replica of a piano he used in the White House. President Nixon plays a solo.
10:28   August 7, 1969. The “Young Americans” serenade Harry Truman at his Independence home. News reporter Joe Kramer questions Omar Bradley about his visit with Harry Truman.
11:37   July 4, 1966. Harry Truman watching Independence Day parade in front of his home; Independence Day ceremonies at the Truman Library.
12:49   November 27, 1971. Harry Truman greet “Pop” Warner football youngsters at his Independence home.
14:33   July 4, 1966. Independence Day ceremonies at the Truman Library. Harry Truman speaks about the Constitution; makes a special message to the Philippines; speaks on the peaceful purpose of the U.N. and the worldwide search for peace. He concludes with the last lines of the Constitution, “…all men are created equal, all are endowed by their creator certain unalienable rights…” Rufus Burrus speaks at the end.
29:28   December 27, 1972. Harry S. Truman funeral scenes. Truman is lying in state, visitors are walking past; military men carrying the casket to the hearse; Margaret Truman Daniel greets Lynda and Lucy Johnson and their husbands at the Independence home. Margaret and Clifton Daniel show President and Mrs. Lyndon Johnson and their daughters to their car. Margaret and Clifton walk President and Mrs. Richard Nixon up to the Independence home and back to their car to leave.
