Description

President Harry S. Truman, speaking from the rear platform of a train, campaigning for Democratic Presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson. The campaign train is stopped in Thompsonville, Connecticut. Sign on the rear of the train read: "Vote for Stevenson and Sparkman." Secret Service men are highly visible on the tracks ahead of the train. Donor: Reid MacCluggage, The Hartford Courant.
