Margaret Truman, who accompanied her father, President Harry S. Truman, to Hartford, Connecticut to campaign for the Stevenson/Sparkman ticket, standing with a group of dignitaries. On Margaret's right is Connecticut Governor John Lodge. On the left is Joseph DePaola of Meriden, a Democratic State official.
