The First Family waves from the back of the President's train. First Lady Bess Truman will not be making the trip, but is there to see the President and Margaret Truman off. They are going on a whistlestop campaign that will involve twenty two states in fifteen days. From left to right: First Lady Bess Truman, President Harry S. Truman, and daughter Margaret Truman.
